Building Critical Bridges: The Third Conference of the Critical Suicide Studies Network (a.k.a. CritSui3) 12-13 December 2018 – The University of Western Australia, Perth, WA Australia.
We would like to invite scholars, relevant service providers, policy-makers and advocates to participate in roundtable discussions that provoke dialogue across a range of topics explore exploring critical approaches to suicide and how these can foster changes in policy and provision with real impact, real consultation and real engagement.
We are particularly interested in short presentations (c. 15 minutes) that can join one or more of the following roundtables:
- Lived Experience of Suicide
- Critical Methodologies
- Indigenous knowledges
- Migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and socio-political conditions of suicidality
- Gender and sexually-diverse persons, subjects and communities
- Critical suicide approaches in practice (marginal and alternative approaches)
